A Prayer For Renewal

Heavenly Father, Holy is your name.

Wonderful is your name. How magnificent you are. I thank you for the blessing of life. Thank you for another day to pursue the things you have called me to do.

Your word is powerful and able to renew things that were once stalled. Wash me in your word, Lord! Cleanse me in the cavernous crevasses of my heart and make me new in You.

Clothe me in Your purpose so that I may serve You and your people in complete humility.

Anoint me with your oil, pour it generously on me. Empty me of myself and fill me, Holy Spirit, so that Your blessing overflows from me onto your people and you are glorified on earth as you are in heaven.
